- Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to design interactive dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making.

- Develop and support data marts and dashboards that provide real-time insights into social media data.

- Stay updated with emerging data technologies, tools, and frameworks, evaluating their potential to improve data engineering processes.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in data engineering, focusing on ETL processes, data pipeline development, and data quality assurance.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL and knowledge of data engineering libraries and frameworks.

- Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with DataOps principles and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Knowledge of data governance and data privacy regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities:


• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations. 

• Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges.

• Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.

• Document the functional and, sometimes, technical design of the system.

• Maintain a working log detailed all required system updates, as well as the date of completion. 

• Coordinate and setup training classes and train end users on best practices, maintaining consistency across users.

Project description and requirements for Background to the assignment

The company provides Data Science support for chemistry product development and support R&D. This includes the design and development of production-ready web application to serve the developed data science model to the end-user and other things.

Therefore, the development requires a secure setup of Azure services according to an existing system architecture. To keep compliance with company's standards, the setup needs to be automated using Terraform and should follow Microsoft recommendations for security and networking. There is also a need for a proper test environment concept and deployment automation for the web application components according to the concept.

Consequently, we need an expert with sufficient expertise in connection with Azure Serverless technologies in a secure setup and their automated deployment, handling of test environment as well as logging and monitoring of serverless applications.


Backlog items will be assigned in Azure DevOps containing business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Workload based on Agile environment, 2 weeks sprints. With Sprint meetings once in two weeks and Daily meetings.

Automation of build and deployment of web app components based on Docker container and Azure serverless technologies
