Project objective: It is necessary to migrate the service infrastructure from NSX-V to NSX-T in a short timeframe with minimal loss and downtime of RDS operability.
Tasks and Requirements:
- The main task is to make the transition from NSX-V to NSX-T
- It is necessary to preserve the operability of all VMs if possible (exceptions may be PBX, DHCP, DNS), and in extreme cases - to raise from scratch.
- It is necessary to preserve the network structure (or in the process arrange so that the changes minimally affected the RDS users).
- Restore VPN between CLOUD and the office.
- Need to migrate storage with users, files and documents.
Current BMs at the moment:
1) Domain Controller (windows)
2) RDS (windows)
3) DHCP (linux)
4) DNS (linux)
- PBX (linux)
- backup (we need to check if backup works there)
7) acc1 (VM on refinement)
8) arch1 (mailstore)
Edge (most likely NSX VM for VPN and other things)
10) std (VM under refinement)
