Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document exhaustive system requirements for both proprietary platforms and cross-system integration flows.
- Design and document integration architectures leveraging REST APIs, event-driven paradigms, and message queuing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications with uncompromising precision.
- Create detailed system models using UML 2.5+ and BPMN 2.0 notation, ensuring crystal-clear communication across stakeholders.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies—could your insights bridge the gap between business vision and technical implementation?
- Craft comprehensive API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger 3.0, ensuring consistency across microservice boundaries.
- Perform thorough gap analysis between current system capabilities and target architectural states.
- Validate technical solutions against established business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Investigate and resolve complex integration challenges across distributed systems.
- Maintain extensive technical documentation in Confluence, preserving critical institutional knowledge.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in system analysis or comparable analytical roles.
- Proven track record implementing system integrations via REST APIs, webhooks, and message queues.
- Working experience with Apache Kafka 3.x or similar event streaming platforms (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Proficiency in at least one modeling notation—UML diagrams or BPMN workflow documentation.
- Practical knowledge of SQL for data analysis, query optimization, and database design principles.
- Demonstrated expertise with Jira for requirements tracking and Confluence for technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with REST architecture, XML/XSD schema design, JSON structure validation, and Swagger implementation.
- Comprehensive understanding of microservice architecture patterns, boundaries, and integration challenges.
- Proven ability to analyze and document complex workflows across distributed system boundaries.
- Substantive experience operating within Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
Nice to Have:
- Experience within banking, fintech, or broader financial services domains.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and anti-patterns.
- Working knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC as alternative integration protocols.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integration testing.
- Background in data modeling or database schema design.
- Understanding of security standards relevant to system integration (OAuth, JWT).
- Experience with API gateway solutions (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture principles across major platforms.
Work Arrangement:
This position offers remote flexibility for qualified professionals based in Russia and Belarus. Candidates located in Moscow or St. Petersburg should be prepared for occasional office attendance as operational needs dictate.
