A specialist in the Analytics Department is required for a project of a large company in the field of pharmaceutical distribution. For more than 25 years the company has been providing modern medicines and medical devices in the field of rare hereditary and socially significant diseases. It carries out a full cycle of logistics, promotion and bringing drugs to the market.


We expect from you:

  • higher education;
  • excellent knowledge of MS Power BI (DAX, Power Query M, data normalization);
  • knowledge of DBMS basics;
  • MS Excel at an advanced level: macro functions, summary tables, add-ins;
  • knowledge of data structure in 1C systems is desirable;
  • T-SQL experience (SSIS, triggers, procedures - as an advantage);
  • knowledge of mathematical statistics methods (modeling), experience in BigData, DataScience - as an advantage;
  • experience in project work, ability to read technical documentation in English - as an advantage;
  • Analytical mindset and desire to work with data, attention to detail;
  • Ability to interpret and draw conclusions based on data.


Knowledge of tools:

  • Excel, Power Pivot, VBA;
  • Power BI Desktop, Power Query;
  • Tabular Editor, Dax Studio, VertiPaq Analyzer;
  • Power BI REST API;
  • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.


Responsibilities:

  • Creation, development and maintenance of reporting system on Power BI platform (Power Query, DAX);
  • collection, processing and transformation of data from various databases (SQL, WEB-interface, Excel) with subsequent analysis and search for answers to business queries;
  • design and development of database, ETL processes;
  • regular monitoring, analysis and explanation of the behavior of KPIs and indicators in key business areas and effective communication to management and key stakeholders;
  • gathering business requirements, writing technical specifications and developing new models;
  • optimizing existing models to reduce volume and/or improve model performance.


Areas of analytics:

  • Market research (market analysis, assortment matrix, competitor analysis);
  • sales management (plan-fact analysis, factor analysis, forecasts);
  • working capital (accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory);
  • business activity (financial cycle analysis);
  • analysis of financial results (BDR, BDDS).
