About the Role As a Senior Banking Business Analyst, you'll serve as the crucial link between our business stakeholders and technical teams. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business requirements and processes to generate comprehensive functional and non-functional specifications for banking system enhancements and process automation initiatives. - Design process-technological solutions that achieve optimal results through strategic system improvements and business process modifications. - Evaluate proposed solutions and prepare Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses to ensure the viability and cost-effectiveness of projects. - Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and agree upon specifications for software enhancements and testing methodologies. - Create detailed use cases in partnership with customers, ensuring clarity in requirements and expected outcomes. - Organize and implement User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, ensuring quality assurance and stakeholder satisfaction. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation using modern collaboration tools like Confluence and Jira. - Coordinate requirements with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with business objectives. - Apply knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and system integration methods to design scalable solutions. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the banking sector to propose innovative solutions. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical, mathematical, economic, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of IT experience with at least 2 years as a Business Analyst specifically in the banking sector. - Comprehensive knowledge of key banking business processes, including lending, payments, compliance, and customer service workflows. - Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum). - Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL) for data analysis and query development. - Working knowledge of English for reading technical documentation and conducting business correspondence. - Experience with requirements gathering, analysis techniques, and business process modeling. - Understanding of systems integration methods and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and understand unfamiliar subject areas. - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Nice to Have: - Conversational English proficiency for direct communication with international teams. - Successful implementation experience with large-scale banking automation projects. - Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira) for project management and documentation. - Knowledge of modern API integration techniques and microservices architecture. - Experience with data visualization tools and reporting systems. - Understanding of regulatory requirements in the banking industry (Basel III, GDPR, PSD2). - Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Project Management (PMP, Prince2). - Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) tools and methodologies.
