Remote SAP Program Manager | Bilingual Japanese-English | ERP Expert
In this pivotal position, you'll orchestrate comprehensive SAP programs that enable operational excellence across international organizations. Working with manufacturing and housing equipment industry leaders, you'll leverage your extensive project governance expertise to deliver impactful ERP solutions that catalyze business transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute robust project roadmaps for SAP implementations, migrations, and enhancement initiatives.
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle—from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, to successful completion.
- Manage critical project constraints including scope definition, schedule adherence, and budget optimization.
- Cultivate high-performing teams through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Establish transparent communication channels between stakeholders, technical specialists, and business units.
- Implement proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Resolve complex implementation challenges with innovative problem-solving approaches.
- Produce comprehensive project documentation and status reporting for executive leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and best practices.
- Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful user adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of progressively responsible project management experience in enterprise systems.
- Demonstrable success managing SAP implementation projects, particularly SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
- Substantial experience within manufacturing, industrial, or housing equipment sectors.
- Expert knowledge of ERP system architecture and integration methodologies.
- Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (business-level fluency required).
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Proven track record managing enterprise-scale budgets and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management abilities across organizational hierarchies.
- Advanced analytical capabilities for translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Nice to Have:
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Project Management.
- Experience with complementary ERP platforms (Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proficiency with SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and HCM.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology for implementations.
- Experience with global system rollouts across multiple regions.
- Change management certification (PROSCI or equivalent).
- Background in business process reengineering.
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and project governance tools.
