Senior Windows SysOps Engineer | Remote | Cloud Trading Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure comprising 100+ Windows servers (2008-2022) deployed across cloud, virtual, and bare metal environments. - Develop comprehensive update strategies, backup protocols, and maintenance policies that minimize downtime for critical trading systems. - Provide tier-3 operational support and resolve complex system-level issues while implementing preemptive solutions to prevent recurrence. - Administer and optimize hybrid Azure AD + On-Premise Microsoft Active Directory environments with precision and security focus. - Configure and maintain essential Windows server roles including AD DS, AD CA, GPO, IIS, DNS, DFS, NPS, and WSUS. - Optimize Microsoft Remote Desktop Services for secure, performant user access across global locations. - Manage virtualization infrastructure based on VMware ESXi 7.0, ensuring optimal resource allocation and high availability. - Implement robust authentication and authorization systems utilizing SSO, SAML, LDAP, and OAuth2 in Azure AD and on-premises AD. - Establish and maintain advanced monitoring systems and log rotation utilizing Zabbix or Prometheus for proactive issue detection. - Oversee Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) administration for seamless business collaboration. - Provide architectural expertise to internal stakeholders regarding hardware specifications and software requirements for new system implementations. - Develop automation workflows using PowerShell, Python, and other scripting technologies to enhance operational efficiency. - Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud-based production systems, ensuring 99.99% availability, optimal performance, and enterprise-grade security. - Create comprehensive documentation for infrastructure components, operational procedures, and technical solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications - 3+ years of substantial experience designing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and supporting Windows Server environments (2008-2022). - 2+ years of hands-on expertise with VMware ESXi 6.7/7.0 or equivalent enterprise virtualization platforms. - Advanced English language proficiency (C1 level); IELTS/TOEFL certification advantageous. - Extensive experience in Windows Server administration and Microsoft Active Directory management at enterprise scale. - Working knowledge of relational database systems including MS SQL Server 2019, PostgreSQL 14+, and MySQL 8.0. - Comprehensive understanding of modern authentication protocols and identity management frameworks. - Demonstrated experience with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) implementation in Microsoft environments. - Proficiency with enterprise monitoring solutions such as Zabbix 6.0 or Prometheus with Grafana. - Practical experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in production environments. - Solid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting capabilities (TCP/IP, DNS, firewall configuration). - Advanced scripting capabilities in PowerShell 7.0+, VBA, and Python 3.9+. - Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned technical domains. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with distributed technical teams. - Superior analytical abilities for diagnosing and resolving complex systems issues.
