Senior Systems Analyst - Remote | Enterprise Software Solutions

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive requirement elicitation sessions with clients using various methodologies (interviews, workshops, observation) to capture nuanced business needs.

- Analyze and transform complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications that development teams can implement with clarity.

- Design and maintain sophisticated system documentation, including UML models, Sequence Diagrams, and integration schemas that illustrate system behavior.

- Facilitate collaborative workshops with stakeholders to refine requirements and establish development priorities.

- Partner closely with development teams throughout implementation phases, ensuring accurate interpretation of specifications.

- Identify and document system integration touchpoints with existing platforms, third-party applications, and APIs.

- Develop validation frameworks to verify implemented solutions fulfill stated business requirements.

- Serve as the principal liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating concepts bidirectionally.

- Employ contemporary Agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe/Kanban) to support the entire software development lifecycle.

- Perform thorough gap analysis to identify system deficiencies and propose elegant solutions.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of substantive experience as a Systems Analyst with demonstrable success in requirements engineering.

- Proven track record of direct client interaction to clarify requirement details and establish development roadmaps.

- Advanced capability in creating technical diagrams—particularly Sequence Diagrams, Use Case models, and Activity flows.

- Exceptional proficiency translating abstract business concepts into structured technical documentation.

- Mastery of requirements elicitation techniques including JAD sessions, user story mapping, and process modeling.

- Practical experience implementing Agile methodologies in enterprise environments (minimum 3 years).

- Superior communication abilities with the capacity to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.

- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities in complex software environments.

- Exceptional stress tolerance and empathetic listening skills to effectively "hear" client needs.

- Proficiency with contemporary requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro).

- Understanding of modern software licensing models (SaaS, perpetual, subscription-based).

- Experience documenting RESTful APIs and GraphQL interfaces.

- Background implementing or configuring enterprise software platforms (ERP, CRM, SCM).

- Professional certifications such as IIBA-CBAP, PMI-PBA, or IREB CPRE.

- Working knowledge of SQL and database design concepts.

- Understanding of international data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA).

- Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) and specification by example.
