We're seeking an accomplished Senior System Analyst to join our innovative team on a full-time remote basis. As a key technical strategist, you'll leverage your advanced expertise in business process modeling, system architecture design, and technical documentation to transform complex business requirements into efficient, scalable solutions. Your profound knowledge of BPMN, UML, and integration protocols will help shape our organization's technical landscape while you collaborate with cross-functional teams across various time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the implementation of new products and enterprise platforms by analyzing business needs and transforming them into precise technical requirements.
- Design and develop comprehensive business process execution scenarios utilizing modern BPMN 2.0 modeling techniques and industry best practices.
- Architect foundational solution frameworks and collaborate with IT architects to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with organizational standards.
- Partner with implementation teams to develop robust solutions that meet business objectives while maintaining technical excellence and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing of functionality to ensure all requirements are met and systems perform optimally under various conditions.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented improvements, including documentation updates and stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate compelling demonstrations of developed functionality to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Create detailed business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specification documents (FSDs) that clearly articulate project scope and objectives.
- Analyze existing business processes and propose strategic optimizations to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related technical field.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in system and business analytics roles with demonstrable project success.
- At least 6 years of general IT industry experience with exposure to various technology domains and integration challenges.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Excel for complex data analysis and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
- Expert-level skills in MS Visio for creating detailed system diagrams, process flows, and technical architecture documentation.
- Demonstrated experience with BPMN 2.0, UML 2.5, and other industry-standard modeling notations in enterprise-scale projects.
- Practical knowledge of IT systems integration protocols including RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, GraphQL, and message queuing systems.
- Proven experience in designing and thoroughly documenting information systems architecture for mission-critical applications.
- Strong track record of successfully implementing changes to existing business processes with minimal disruption to operations.
- Experience developing comprehensive BRDs, FSDs, and other technical documentation for complex software development projects.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence for project management, documentation, and team collaboration.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in business analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or system analysis (CSSA) from recognized professional organizations.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or ArchiMate for complex system design.
- Knowledge of database design principles, SQL, and data modeling techniques for relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with process automation tools or BPM suites like Camunda, Bizagi, or Pega Systems.
- Background in specific industries such as finance, healthcare, e-commerce, or supply chain management.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration capabilities.
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques, tools, and visualization frameworks for effective information representation.
