Senior SAP PP Expert | S/4HANA Production Planning Specialist | Remote

As a Senior SAP PP Expert, you'll spearhead end-to-end SAP Production Planning implementations and optimizations within modern S/4HANA environments. This fully remote position empowers you to collaborate with international teams while designing sophisticated manufacturing solutions that address complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and implement comprehensive SAP PP solutions within S/4HANA 2022 environments, focusing on process manufacturing clients in the consumer goods sector.

- Configure and customize shelf life planning, safety stock, and target stock level planning functionalities tailored to specific client requirements and industry standards.

- Develop advanced pegging mechanisms, set-up matrices, and campaign planning solutions to optimize production processes and resource utilization.

- Implement sophisticated tank planning solutions for process manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

- Configure detailed scheduling and optimizer features to achieve maximum manufacturing efficiency and throughput.

- Design and implement graphic planning board interfaces and alerts monitoring systems for real-time production visibility and control.

- Lead technical workshops to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into effective SAP PP configurations.

- Create comprehensive technical and functional documentation for all implemented solutions, ensuring knowledge retention.

- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and provide specialized training to client teams for sustainable operations.

- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, and QM consultants to deliver integrated solutions.

- Continuously monitor system performance metrics and propose strategic improvements for production planning processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing SAP PP module solutions across diverse manufacturing environments.

- Demonstrated expertise in delivering shelf life planning, safety and target stock level planning, pegging, set-up matrix, campaign planning, tank planning, detailed scheduling, optimizer, graphic planning board, and alerts monitor functionalities.

- Extensive experience in process manufacturing industries with particular emphasis on consumer goods and FMCG sectors.

- Successful completion of at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects from design through deployment.

- Proven S/4HANA implementation experience (version 2021 or newer) with specialized focus on production planning functionality.

- Strong technical knowledge of SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) integration points and architecture.

- Advanced understanding of manufacturing resource planning methodologies and capacity planning concepts.

- Proficiency in SAP integration between PP, MM, SD, QM, and other relevant modules.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions for complex manufacturing scenarios.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field (MBA or relevant SAP certification preferred).

Nice to Have

- Experience configuring SAP Fiori applications for production planning and control.

- Knowledge of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) integration techniques and best practices.

- Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) integration frameworks.

- Experience applying APICS principles and industry best practices to SAP implementations.

- Official certification in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning or related specializations.

- Practical experience working with consumer packaged goods (CPG) or food and beverage industries.

- Cross-functional expertise spanning both process and discrete manufacturing environments.

- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their practical application within SAP environments.
