Senior Remote Scrum Master | Azure DevOps Project Manager (Lab Systems)

 Our global adhesive and consumer brands company is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to orchestrate the development of our innovative laboratory management platform. You'll lead agile ceremonies and coordinate cross-functional teams using Azure DevOps to connect R&D facilities with our cloud-based SaaS ecosystem.

We're developing a sophisticated laboratory management system that will transform how our R&D teams operate globally. This strategic initiative connects laboratory PCs performing prototype testing with our SaaS platforms, automating data capture and streamlining inventory management. Your expertise will drive the delivery of our first MVP by November 2024, with initial deployment across two laboratory facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups.

- Lead sprint reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

- Maintain a consistent two-week sprint cadence with daily synchronization.

- Manage the comprehensive ticket lifecycle within Azure DevOps.

- Orchestrate release management processes and documentation.

- Document technical meetings and architectural decisions in the project wiki.

- Create and maintain all application management documentation.

- Report directly to internal product owners regarding progress metrics.

- Provide detailed timeline updates and milestone tracking.

- Facilitate cross-team communication and remove impediments.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.

- Demonstrated proficiency with Azure DevOps for end-to-end project management.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles and implementation.

- Experience coordinating development teams working with modern JavaScript frameworks.

- Proven track record managing complex cloud infrastructure projects.

- Exceptional documentation skills for both technical and process documentation.

- Advanced stakeholder management and reporting capabilities.

- Experience with release management and deployment strategies.

- Excellent communication skills with diverse technical and business audiences.

- Self-motivated with proven remote work effectiveness.

Nice to Have

- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

- Familiarity with PostgreSQL database administration.

- Knowledge of secure data transfer protocols between on-premises and cloud environments.

- Previous work with R&D or scientific organizations.

- Professional certifications in Scrum, SAFe, or other agile methodologies.

- Experience implementing and enforcing development standards.
