Key Responsibilities - Create sophisticated, modern UI designs that enhance our financial platform's visual identity and usability. - Translate complex banking requirements into streamlined, intuitive user journeys across multiple touchpoints. - Communicate design concepts persuasively to stakeholders, including executives unfamiliar with design terminology. - Own the end-to-end customer experience, establishing metrics to quantify impact and drive improvements. - Design, conduct, and analyze comprehensive user testing sessions to inform evidence-based enhancements. - Develop and maintain robust design systems ensuring consistency while enabling rapid iteration. - Mentor junior designers, providing clear direction and fostering professional growth opportunities. - Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features based on user needs and business objectives. - Partner with engineering teams to ensure design integrity throughout implementation phases. - Monitor key performance indicators to measure design effectiveness and guide continuous refinement. Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of product design experience, with proven expertise in complex digital products. - Advanced proficiency in Figma (including components, auto-layout, variables, and collaborative workflows). - Strong capability with Adobe Creative Suite CC 2025 (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator). - Experience with user research tools like Hotjar for heat-mapping and session recording analysis. - Ability to establish and analyze unmoderated user testing campaigns effectively. - Working knowledge of front-end development principles to facilitate designer-developer collaboration. - Demonstrated strength in information architecture and interaction design for complex systems. - Portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX projects with measurable business outcomes. - Experience working in fast-paced environments (startup experience advantageous but not essential). - Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions to diverse audiences. Nice to Have - Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services sectors. - Background working with international or cross-cultural user bases. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance considerations in interface design. - Experience with Protopie, Framer, or other advanced prototyping tools. - Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and inclusive design principles. - Understanding of mobile-first design approaches and responsive frameworks. - Experience visualizing complex financial data in accessible, meaningful ways.
