Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain high-performance PostgreSQL database clusters (versions 14.x through 16.x) operating 24/7 with stringent uptime requirements exceeding 99.9%. - Develop sophisticated infrastructure automation through Ansible playbooks and infrastructure-as-code methodologies. - Lead client database initiatives from architectural consulting through migration, implementation, and performance refinement phases. - Establish resilient replication topologies, clustering mechanisms, and comprehensive backup strategies for business-critical database systems. - Identify performance bottlenecks through systematic analysis and formulate actionable optimization recommendations for development teams. - Implement proactive monitoring frameworks for PostgreSQL server ecosystems, enabling early detection and remediation of potential issues. - Ensure database backup integrity and verification, maintaining comprehensive disaster recovery capabilities and business continuity preparedness.
