Key Responsibilities

- Spearhead the development of new enterprise-grade projects on Magento 2.4+, implementing industry best practices and performance optimization techniques.

- Enhance and extend functionality for existing Magento 1.x implementations, ensuring seamless operation and feature compatibility.

- Design and develop custom modules that extend core Magento capabilities while maintaining system integrity and upgrade paths.

- Optimize database queries and application performance to achieve sub-second page load times in high-traffic environments.

- Implement and configure payment gateways, shipping methods, and third-party integrations according to precise business requirements.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple ecommerce platforms, providing efficient and sustainable solutions.

- Collaborate with frontend specialists to implement responsive, accessible interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to development standards.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2 years of commercial development experience with both Magento 2 and Magento 1 platforms.

- Strong proficiency in PHP7.4+ and relational database systems including MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.2+.

- Comprehensive understanding of Magento's architecture, including its module system, database structure, and extension points.

- Practical knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for frontend integration and customization requirements.

- Thorough understanding of modern programming paradigms including Dependency Injection, Design Patterns, and MVC architecture.
