Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and execute end-to-end testing strategies for LiDAR-based hardware and software security solutions that significantly outperform conventional camera-based systems.

- Develop and maintain a sophisticated, efficient regression testing framework to validate the entire software stack—from firmware to user interfaces.

- Formulate comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts ensuring product quality exceeds industry benchmarks and customer expectations.

- Evaluate technical challenges with precision, preparing well-structured task pools for the QA team with accurate effort estimations.

- Lead, mentor, and manage the activities of a distributed QA team, providing expert technical guidance and constructive performance feedback.

- Collaborate seamlessly with development, product, and hardware teams to identify and resolve quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.

- Establish meaningful metrics and KPIs to track testing effectiveness and quantify product quality improvements.

- Implement and refine automation testing frameworks aligned with industry best practices and technological advancements.

- Coordinate comprehensive user acceptance testing and field validation of integrated security systems.

- Document testing procedures, results, and product defects with exceptional clarity and attention to detail.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 5+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity managing QA teams and processes.

- Demonstrated experience in the physical security market (QA/Development for VMS providers, Access Control systems, Camera manufacturers, or Integration Solutions).

- Strong background testing integrated hardware/software solutions, including advanced firmware testing methodologies.

- Proficiency developing and executing test plans for Linux (Ubuntu 20.04+), Windows (10/11), and web-based platforms.

- Advanced knowledge of .NET 6.0+ and C# 10.0+ development and testing for Windows environments.

- Hands-on experience with virtual environments and containerization technologies including VMware vSphere 7.0+, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Expertise with test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration for sophisticated QA processes.

- Comprehensive understanding of network protocols and security standards relevant to physical security systems.

- Experience with contemporary defect tracking systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar enterprise tools.

- Exceptional analytical capabilities with proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware and software domains.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with distributed teams.

Nice to Have:

- Direct experience with LiDAR technology or other sensor-based security systems.

- Background in IoT device testing or smart building security solutions.

- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms used in object detection and tracking.

- Experience with cloud-based security system testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with security compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
