Senior Fullstack PHP Developer | Remote | Symfony/Laravel Specialist

About the Position As a Fullstack PHP Developer, you'll collaborate remotely with a talented team of professionals to create and enhance tools that directly impact our company's efficiency and performance. This position demands technical excellence, innovative problem-solving approaches, and exceptional interpersonal skills to understand and address internal stakeholder needs. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated internal company tools for Back-End/Data platform management, supporting End User Support (EUS) teams, client-side developers, and Data Team operations. - Engineer and enhance service applications requested by the EUS-team, ensuring they meet rigorous business requirements and performance standards. - Seamlessly integrate newly developed tools with the core platform architecture, preserving system integrity and functionality. - Execute comprehensive code refactoring initiatives to improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability across the technology stack. - Evaluate and select appropriate development tools, frameworks, and technologies to optimize development workflows and outcomes. - Maintain and update the company's corporate websites, implementing best practices for security, functionality, and user experience. - Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that precisely address their business needs. - Collaborate across functional teams to ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives and technical standards. Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 2+ years of commercial development experience with PHP 7+, advancing to PHP 8+ environments. - Demonstrated proficiency with modern PHP frameworks including Symfony 6+, Laravel 10+, or Magento 2.4+. - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture. - Hands-on experience with relational databases including MySQL 8+ and/or PostgreSQL 14+. - Practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and ability to implement and maintain component-based layouts for frontend elements. - Experience with containerization using Docker, docker-compose, and version control with Git in collaborative environments. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a service-oriented mindset and clear focus on internal customer satisfaction. - High level of autonomy, personal responsibility, and advanced problem-solving capabilities. - Proficient English skills for effective remote collaboration and documentation. Nice to Have - Working knowledge of Python 3.10+ or Golang 1.20+ as a secondary programming language to support diverse project requirements. - Experience configuring and managing LAMP/LNMP stacks in production environments. - Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices architecture. - Practical experience with AWS or other major cloud service providers (Azure, Google Cloud) for deployment and scaling. - Understanding of modern API design principles and RESTful services implementation. - Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js 3, React 18+, or Angular 15+.
