Introduction

We're seeking an accomplished DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in infrastructure automation, containerization, and mobile application CI/CD pipelines. Your role will be pivotal in architecting robust infrastructure solutions, implementing cutting-edge DevSecOps practices, and optimizing deployment workflows for mobile applications. This position combines technical depth with strategic thinking — all while working 100% remotely with our global technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure utilizing modern DevOps practices and containerization technologies.

- Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines specifically for mobile applications (iOS and Android), integrating with Firebase, TestFlight, and Apple Developer environments.

- Configure and fine-tune containerized environments using Docker, OpenShift 4.x, and Kubernetes for maximum efficiency.

- Interact proactively with infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to align technological solutions with business requirements.

- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all infrastructure components and procedures.

- Collaborate effectively with development and QA teams to establish streamlined workflows and deployment processes.

- Respond swiftly to performance issues, implementing immediate resolution strategies with minimal service disruption.

- Implement DevSecOps engineering practices throughout the infrastructure and application lifecycle.

- Establish robust workflows within the team and with related systems to enhance operational efficiency.

- Monitor system health proactively using advanced logging and visualization tools (ELK/EFK Stack, Prometheus/Grafana).

- Automate infrastructure provisioning through sophisticated Helm charts, Ansible playbooks, and Terraform configurations.

Required Skills and Experience

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering with demonstrated proficiency in infrastructure automation.

- Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms, particularly OpenShift 4.x, Kubernetes, and Docker for production workloads.

- Exceptional Linux administration capabilities, including performance tuning, security hardening, and complex troubleshooting.

- Extensive expertise with Nginx configuration, optimization, and security implementations.

- Comprehensive understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP stack protocols for secure service architecture.

- Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Helm, Ansible, Salt, or Terraform for consistent deployment patterns.

- Demonstrated experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for project management and collaboration.

- Practical experience with CI/CD tools including TeamCity, Jenkins, Buildbot, or GitLab CI in enterprise environments.

- Working knowledge of at least one scripting language: Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go for automation tasks.

- Applied knowledge of DevSecOps principles — particularly in securing containers, applications, and service interactions.

- Proven track record implementing logging and monitoring solutions (ELK/EFK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).

- Strong analytical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills in complex technological ecosystems.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Service Mesh implementations (Istio, Linkerd) for microservices communication.

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration and optimization.

- Knowledge of mobile development technologies (Kotlin, Swift, Java) to better support developer requirements.

- Experience configuring and maintaining Nexus Artifactory or similar artifact repository solutions.

- Integration expertise with SonarQube for code quality analysis and security scanning.

- Familiarity with the full lifecycle management of MacMini infrastructure for iOS builds.

- Background in custom Android build pipeline optimization and automation.
