Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure & CI/CD (Remote)

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and enhance robust Continuous Integration automation across diverse platforms using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize Continuous Deployment automation frameworks leveraging Docker (20.10+) and Kubernetes (v1.27+) technologies.
- Orchestrate the strategic migration of legacy services from on-premise infrastructure to cloud platforms, ensuring zero downtime.
- Define, implement, and refine comprehensive DevOps methodologies throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Establish monitoring systems and analytical processes that provide actionable insights into application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges and implement elegant solutions.
- Design and implement disaster recovery protocols that ensure business continuity in all scenarios.
- Create thorough, accessible documentation that empowers team members and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify automation opportunities to eliminate manual processes and enhance system reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain our 99.9%+ uptime commitment to clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering roles, preferably within finance or high-transaction environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in administering both Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows-based infrastructure.
- Substantial experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including their security frameworks and cost optimization strategies.
- Practical knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools such as Ansible (2.15+), Puppet, Chef, or equivalent systems.
- Proven track record developing sophisticated CI/CD pipelines with emphasis on reliability and security.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform (1.5+) or similar technologies.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks and system management.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—can you explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

- Professional certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem including Helm, service meshes, and security implementations.
- Expertise in implementing zero-trust security frameworks for cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and performance optimization.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and progressive delivery methodologies.
- Background in financial services technology or regulated industries.
