As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you'll work remotely with international teams to design and implement cutting-edge data solutions. You'll collaborate with product owners and development teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable, efficient data architectures. This position requires both technical excellence and strong communication skills to ensure successful outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop advanced business intelligence solutions using Python and the scikit-learn stack.

- Implement secure authentication methods for data access, including OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Graph API integration.

- Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes within Databricks environments.

- Configure and maintain data solutions on Azure Virtual Machines and related cloud infrastructure.

- Create comprehensive data models and visualization tools to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.

- Apply machine learning techniques to develop predictive analytics capabilities for business stakeholders.

- Participate in an agile, DevOps-oriented development process, including CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders on data-related initiatives across departments.

- Document processes, methodologies, and solutions for knowledge transfer and future reference.

- Analyze complex business problems and translate them into effective technical solutions that deliver measurable value.


Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in business intelligence or data engineering roles.

- Proven expertise in Python programming (Python 3.8+), including pandas, NumPy, and other data manipulation libraries.

- Strong knowledge of the scikit-learn library (0.24+) and implementation of machine learning models.

- Advanced experience with Databricks platform (10.4 LTS or newer) and its ecosystem.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing Azure Virtual Machines for data workloads.

- Practical knowledge of Outlook authentication methods, particularly OAuth 2.0 and Graph API v1.0.

- Experience working in DevOps environments with CI/CD practices and version control systems.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex data challenges methodically.

- Strong independent work ethic with result-oriented approach to projects in fast-paced environments.

- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.


Nice to Have

- Knowledge of German language for enhanced communication with European clients.

- Experience with additional cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other modern data visualization tools.

- Background in big data technologies like Apache Spark or Hadoop ecosystems.

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for data workloads.

- Previous work in finance, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors applying BI solutions.

- Certifications in Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, or relevant data technologies.
