Key Responsibilities

- Develop high-quality, performance-optimized 3D plant and vegetation models using SpeedTree 9 and complementary industry-standard tools.

- Create low-poly variations of models that preserve visual fidelity while ensuring efficient rendering performance.

- Design detailed textures for all vegetation assets utilizing modern PBR workflows and material systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to integrate models seamlessly into our platform's rendering pipeline.

- Optimize 3D assets for real-time visualization, striking the ideal balance between visual quality and performance requirements.

- Document modeling methodologies and maintain meticulously organized asset libraries.

- Participate in regular team reviews to align on artistic direction and technical specifications.

- Contribute to the continuous evolution and expansion of our vegetation library and modeling workflows.


Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with SpeedTree for creating detailed plant and vegetation models.

- Demonstrated proficiency in low-poly modeling techniques specifically for real-time applications.

- Comprehensive understanding of texturing workflows using industry tools like Substance Painter/Designer.

- Impressive portfolio showcasing realistic vegetation and environmental assets.

- Proven track record optimizing 3D assets for real-time rendering environments.

- Strong grasp of rendering pipelines and performance considerations for interactive applications.

- Effective communication skills for working directly with artists, designers, and DevOps professionals.

- English proficiency at B2+ level for clear team communication.

- Self-directed work ethic with exceptional ability to manage priorities independently.


Nice to Have

- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 environment creation and advanced rendering techniques.

- Technical artist capabilities, particularly in developing automated asset pipelines.

- Extensive knowledge of Blueprint visual scripting system within Unreal Engine.

- Experience integrating 3D assets with REST APIs and networked applications.

- Proficiency with Jira for project management and issue tracking.

- Comfortable working with Git or similar version control systems.

- Background in or knowledge of landscape architecture or botanical sciences.

- Experience with procedural modeling and generative design techniques.
