Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop photorealistic 3D digital avatars with advanced facial animation systems using Autodesk Maya 2023 and Unity 3D (2022.3 LTS or newer).
- Create detailed facial topology optimized for expressive animations while maintaining excellent performance in WebGL environments.
- Implement efficient rigging systems for natural facial movements and expressions that respond dynamically to speech input.
- Optimize 3D assets for cross-platform performance, ensuring visual fidelity remains consistent across web and mobile applications.
- Integrate digital avatars with Azure Bot Framework and LUIS (Language Understanding) services to enable intelligent conversational capabilities.
- Implement and fine-tune STT (Speech-To-Text) and TTS (Text-to-Speech) functionalities using HTML5 Web APIs and JavaScript libraries.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless WebGL rendering and proper integration of 3D assets into web and mobile applications.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for avatar customization and animation systems to support future expansions and modifications.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Generalist or Character Modeller, with a demonstrable portfolio showcasing facial modeling and animation work.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Maya 2023, particularly in character modeling, UV mapping, and sophisticated facial rigging techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of Unity 3D (2022.3+) with proven experience optimizing 3D assets for real-time applications.
- Experience with WebGL rendering technologies and optimizing complex 3D content for efficient web deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to create realistic facial animations that synchronize precisely with audio inputs.
- Practical understanding of implementing real-time communication systems such as Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and HTML5 Web APIs for creating responsive browser-based applications.
- Proficient English communication skills (B1 level or higher) for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex 3D development tasks with minimal supervision.
