Product Lead (fintech)

A solution to the financing problem for small and medium-sized businesses that cannot obtain loans from banks.
Target customers:
- Near-prime: Stable companies with medium risk (short operating history, seasonality).
- Sub-prime: Companies with high risk (unstable income, poor credit history, no collateral).
Stage: The product is to be built from scratch.
Team
The role will require interaction with various departments within the group of companies (Risk, Data, Development, Legal, Operations). At the initial stage, a dedicated team reporting directly to the Product Lead is not planned. However, additional resources can be allocated to the project.
Product-related reporting and collaboration will be with the company's Vice President.
Key Goal for the First Year: MVP launch, pilot program, achieving product-market fit, and making a decision on scaling.
Experience & Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience in fintech or banks, preferably with launching credit or alternative lending products (POS/BNPL, factoring, microfinance).
- Experience in the SMB/self-employed segment is a plus.
- Experience in establishing cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in building products from scratch.
- Understanding of the risk framework in lending will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in development management: writing specs, prioritization, and delivery.
Greatest emphasis will be placed on: Relevant experience, soft skills, and examples of successful cases with proven results (and failed ones as well).
Work Format: Full-time, remote, GMT+3 (a significant time zone difference will likely be a disadvantage).
Interview Process: 1-2 rounds with the Vice President and HR.
Start Date: ASAP after a positive decision.
