The company - one of the leading providers of IT solutions in the financial industry in search of a specialist for the position - PostgreSQL Developer.


Responsibilities:

- Migration of a large BackOffice project from Weblogic and Oracle to Tomcat and PostgreSQL.

- Optimization, stabilization and development of the new system.

- Development and refinement of business logic at the PostgreSQL database level.

- Writing and optimizing complex analytical queries.

- Support of technical documentation.


Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL (SQL, PL/pgSQL, analytical queries).

- Good knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL.

- Experience with sectioning, collections, analytic functions, XML, JSON.

- Experience in query optimization, working with multithreading.

- Experience in organizing distributed processing.

- Experience with Git.

- Skill in writing high-quality code, compliant with standards, covered by tests.

- Experience of software development under high loads from 3 years.

- Ability to read technical documentation in English.


Additional:

- Experience in migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.

- Experience with banking processes and high load systems.
