PHP Developer (Lithuanian speaker)

Looking for a Senior PHP Developer with Lithuanian language.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical direction for specific system components, making technical decisions.
• Design and build new features, while ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of existing web applications.
• Seamlessly connect diverse REST APIs to enhance the platform's functionality.
• Utilize the latest PHP tools and technologies to deliver high-quality code.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, driving solutions that ensure system stability.
• Adhere to best practices, crafting clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.
• Thrive within a dynamic, multi-functional team, embracing Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Actively contribute to the team's knowledge base, sharing your expertise and learning from others.
• Effectively manage your workload, aligning tasks with team goals and sprint objectives.
• Propose improvements to the systems, ensuring remaining at the forefront of technology and maintain a competitive advantage.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in web development.
• Extensive understanding of PHP and MySQL, demonstrating a deep knowledge of the language and its ecosystem.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles, with practical experience using the Symfony framework.
• Comfortable working with Git for source code management.
• Proven ability to integrate various REST APIs into complex systems.
• Experience in configuring local, staging, and production environments.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with PHPUnit testing, REST API optimization, SQL and ORMs.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), Bootstrap, Vue.js, NPM, and Webpack.
• Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Nginx, TDD, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Passion for Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
