Requirements & Skills:


Higher technical education.

Relevant work experience – at least 1 year.

Subject Area: Required – familiar with the fundamentals of banking; preferred – familiar with banking products (in their area of ​​responsibility).


Analysis of business and functional requirements and solution development – ​​analysis of technical specifications, clarifying questions, critical reading of technical specifications and business requirements (BR) is desirable, identifying obvious inconsistencies.

Knowledge of software testing fundamentals:

General testing theory, types of testing, terminology.

Key test design techniques: Equivalence Class Testing, Boundary Value Testing, Decision Table Testing, State-Transition Testing, Pairwise Testing.

Defect classification and localization (preferred).

Development lifecycle, agile development methodologies (Kanban/Agile/Scrum/Lean), DevOPS – the basics and differences between different development methods (Kanban/Agile/Scrum/Lean)

Working with test documentation – knowledge of banking fundamentals is essential.

TMS, Wiki, and bug tracking tools – knowledge of basic interface elements and functions, internal instructions, and the ability to correctly file bugs in Jira.

Databases – general understanding, ability to read and understand database schemas in commonly accepted graphical notations, writing simple SQL queries and data types. Desirable: complex queries (subqueries, cross joins, inner joins, outer joins, set operations, group and analytical operations).

UI Frontend (DevTools for web applications) – required to read queries, check for errors in queries, and working with cookies is desirable.

UI Frontend (Charles/Fiddler traffic interception) – required skills in setting up the environment, reading requests, and working with breakpoints is desirable.


REST, SOAP, GraphQ APIs:


General understanding of the TCP/IP stack, the OSI network model, a basic understanding of APIs, HTTP status codes and their meanings, headers, and JSON/XML formats.

Understanding of REST/SOAP/GraphQL (depending on the project) and system integration.

Ability to identify obvious errors in the request and response text is desirable.

API tools: SoapUI, Postman (or similar): familiarity with the tool documentation, simple template requests, and basic test creation tool functions; ability to work with test variables and environment settings is desirable.

Working with logs of the specific application being tested – reading and searching for error messages. Working with Unix systems (Bash or MS Windows PowerShell/CMD): Basic commands are required, simple scripts (command sequences) are preferred.

DQL (Document Query Language), Documnetum API (idql, iapi on Content Server, Documentum Administrator web interface): knowledge of how to run queries based on templates or create simple queries yourself.

Mobile app testing: Understanding how the app interacts with the server is essential, as well as knowing what the app screen consists of, installing the app from Testflight and Firebase. Don't keep active and disable animations are preferred.

Android/iOS IDE – Ability to read logs.

Programming basics, including GIT:

Basic GIT commands

Basic understanding of working with branches

OOP basics (a plus).
