DevOps Engineer

We are currently looking for several DevOps Engineers for our client in Frankfurt. Tasks: - Operating Kubernetes based data platform on Amazon AWS as part of a DevOps team; - Tech support functional teams along the full lifecycle of use cases; - 2nd Level Ops Support covering Troubleshooting and Maintenance on Data Pipeline Level with main focus on failing DataHub Pipelines; - Hardening/Improvement resilience of platform; - Technical incident management; - Deployment of use cases into production; - Run POCs with commercial third party software; - 5/8 Availability. Support has to be actively pulled via ticketing system. Skills: - 3 years experience in operations of data-intensive applications in production; - 3 years hands-on experience with cloud services offered by Azure and/or AWS (respective certifications are a plus); - You bring extensive experience with security and IAM best practices in microservice environments (e.g. Keycloak, JWT, mTLS, secret Mgmt). - You possess excellent knowledge in setting up and troubleshooting containerized, infrastructure-as-code pipelines in Kubernetes environments (e.g. Helm, ArgoCD, Cloud Formation); - You have vast experience in operating and tuning DB and Message Broker clusters (e.g. Postgres, Apache Kafka); - You have a deep understanding of using and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines; - You communicate effectively in English with technical and non-technical stakeholders (spoken & written).
