Data Architecture Analyst (Data Governance Analyst)
A specialist in the Data Architecture Department is required for a project of a large company in the field of pharmaceutical distribution. For more than 25 years the company has been providing modern medicines and medical devices in the field of rare hereditary and socially significant diseases. It carries out a full cycle of logistics, promotion and bringing drugs to the market.
Purpose of the position
- Participate in forming and keeping up-to-date the Data Architecture, which defines conceptual solutions for information asset management in accordance with the company's strategy and establishes appropriate strategic requirements for data and data project solutions.
- Develop and implement a Data Governance (DG) program exercising coordination and control authority (planning, monitoring and enforcement) with respect to information asset management.
- Identifying and structuring data requirements, defining data objects and data elements and the relationships between them, business rules, data quality requirements and, in general, logical and physical data models.
- Increase employee information literacy in the management and effective use of corporate data.
- Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of data governance procedures, monitor performance, organize data governance support and development.
Functional Responsibilities
- DMBP: Develop and implement data management policies and processes
Develop and implement methodology, procedures for data governance (Data Governance)Disseminate the company's data culture:
- Consulting users on data governance processes;
- Preparation of documentation and training materials on data governance;
- training of key users.
- DC: Deployment of Data Catalog
Participate in the formation and implementation of the organization's Data Catalog
- DSs: Deployment of Data Stewardship Institute - decentralized business role structure
Participate in the coordination of the Data Steward's work
- PM: Product Management - product lifecycle management of the data management unit's products
Gather, formulate and analyze business requirements for Data Stewardship products

- Understanding of data management principles and practices
- Understanding of data lifecycle, including data storage, processing and integration technologies
- Experience in implementing data governance policies and processes
- Experience of interacting with business customers and implementers
- Experience with Data Governance tools (Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Quality, MasterData).
- As an advantage: experience with BI, SQL, ETL, DWH
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks (DAMA DMBOK)
- Understanding of data infrastructure management information systems (DMS) principles
- Knowledge of UML notation for describing data structure and its relationships
- Knowledge of AGILE agile product development management methodology
