Backend, frontend. - Localization of bugs and writing bug reports. - Requirements analysis, communication with business / customers, clarification of requirements and expected behavior (the importance of communications cannot be overestimated. It is better to clarify in time than to correct later. On the other hand, in some cases it is better to take responsibility and resolve on its own). - Writing and maintaining test documentation (cases for regression and smoke, checklists, tables for QA colleagues). - Review of test cases. - Evaluation of labor costs for testing. - Preparation of test data. - Preparation of test benches (on a number of projects it was required to deploy them independently). - Investigation of incidents from production (reproduction, localization, analysis, why it was missed). - Following Agile methodology (regular sprints, daily scrums, retro, meetings with product managers). - Project supervision (QA lead on the project).

Responsibilities were the same as at the last job, plus: - UI testing with pixel-perfect approach (comparison implemented pages with the layout). - mobile testing. - usability testing (UX), testing applications from a user-perspective. - layout specs testing (analysis of the requirements contained in the layouts). - testing for failure and recovery. - cross-browser testing. - writing acceptance cases. - rewriting “manual” cases for further automation. - writing reports with detailed testing results. - onboarding and mentoring new hires and juniors. - being the only QA engineer on several projects.
