Specialization: ICT Solution Associate
I have extensive experience in digital transformation namely beneficiary data management, process automation, and application development. Recently in Sudan, I have been engaged with the implementation of SCOPE. At the moment 2.5+ million individuals are registered in the system. My main contribution to the project includes data management, cache config file, Data Cleansing, preparing/configuring mobile registration equipment, leading the team who carried on registration, and monitor their performance to achieve the registration planned targets. Based on charges assigned, I have been contributing to register 299,000 + individuals dispatched to 5 camps in Darfur area offices since I joined SCOPE missions. Also, I oversee providing software evaluation and solutions to WFP business units connected to the Sudan application portal hosted 23+ applications implemented by various business units. The PASPORT (Personal and Salary Portal) software for supporting Sudan CO, Global Telephone Directory (GTD), for Sudan, has been developed during this period with a data replication process to synchronize contact user information between Sudan and HQ. Automation of paper voucher reconciliation has been developed for Nyala AO and implemented by World Vision Organization as a WFP cooperation partner. Being SCOPE registration manager, I had prepared, and test equipment used for registration missions in five camps targeting around 66,000+ HHs. I have been contributed to preparing CBT services such as printing bank pre-paid cards to 4900+ HHs and printing SCOPE cards to 2300+ HHs. I oversee the Sudan Sharepoint platform as administrator on the platform that hosts documents of each business unit. I managed to lead a team in Sudan Customs as a Customs officer to implement an Automated System for Customs Data in two duty stations out of 12 duty stations. This exercise was accomplished by completing technical and management activities.

Developing Sorghum Forecasting Models using Artificial Intelligence

This abstract include the other forecasting models.

Sorghum Yield Forecasting Model Using Satellite based Vegetation Indices in the Rain fed Sectors in Sud.

Nine Neural Network forecasting models are investigated in one study area ( Gedaref) GRVI is [Green Red Vegetation Index] used for Neural Network input Preprocessing by normalizing the data sets with mean 0 and standard deviation 1 • Sorghum forecasting models are developed using RBF [Radial Basis Function] network.

Developing Sorghum Forecasting Models using Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Neural Network (ANN) architectures are developed, investigated, and tested for forecasting Sorghum yield for the selected study area in Gedarif state. Rainfall data is provided by Meteorological Authority, Satellite images are collected from (Famine Early Warning System (FEWS) website, and Sorghum yield is provided by Ministry of Agriculture – Gedarif state. The study has developed and analyzed 32 models of neural networks to predict the production of Sorghum yield (as output data) by using the seasonal rainfall data and satellite images vegetation indices (as input data).
