Description: During the summer I investigated the use of randomized algorithms and statistical analysis for developing more effective algorithms in the area of virus protection systems. My approach was based on broad use of formal methods and simulation techniques. The extensive use of simulations required a great deal of using Java, C, C++, Maude, NS-2. The results of the work have been published.

My responsibilities included: overall design of the system including design of particular components when needed, technical task distribution, technical supervision and assistance, undertaking the most urgent or complex tasks.

The projects included MySQL based central database, the network of local machines automating various operations related to goods circulation and providing necessary printouts and reports, communicating with the central server using a message broker system. The access to the system was facilitated through the broad use of wireless devices including barcode scanners and cell phones.

Description: During my work I designed, developed and supported various accounting oriented database systems based on 1C Management System. My responsibilities included client end interactions. I used Visual C++ in addition to the internal 1C language to overcome its restrictions. During that time I extensively worked with MS SQL Server and Visual Studio.
