Duties:
• Managing a team of designers and developers.
• Coordinating people from different functions such as product development, product marketing, and content production.
• Managing development of the website and the mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Positioning a product, interviewing clients, market analysis.
• Making reports in the form of presentations for the top management.
• Forming goals and plans for the development of the product.
• Searching for new employees for new functions that I established.
Achievements:
• I have become one of the authors of a new product concept—The Course Library.
• I have managed building several versions of the website and applications for iOS and Android. New website versions usually took no more than one month to build. The iOS application was featured by Apple as one of the best apps for education.
• I established the support service from the ground up. We were getting around 300–400 requests a month with 95% satisfactions level, 1 hour average time for the first answer and 90–100% closing level.
• I came up with and managed building a referral system for engaging users. This system was making 30% of the total monthly revenue on the moment I left the company.
• I established a testing team from scratch.
• Product development process was moved to Agile principles.
• I came up with a new form of reporting within the company. The idea was that every manager responsible for his or her part of the product would stand up and describe his or her part in front of top managers. I was a coordinator of this presentation. This form of reporting then was accepted as the main one in the company.
• I made the first product metrics system that was accepted within the company as a standard for some time.
