Automated tests for ERP system of schools in the US - Refactored and fixed ~40% of unstable tests. - In regression test runs, analyzed ~200 tests and reported issues. Issues found by automation tests prevented the release of some missed bugs to production. - Wrote SQL scripts to create test data for automation tests. It made automation tests data independent and stable. - Reviewed the code of teammates. 1-2 PRs per day. - Took the lead of the automation team for about 2 months. Processes were improved. The team focused on developing data-independent stable tests rather than fixing the hard-coded data and setting up the old tests in the new environment. - Mentored a new hire.

Tested social media app - Automated API tests with Postman. It speeded up release processes. The new version was released at least once a week. - Automated end-to-end tests with Appium and Java. It allowed running tests on remote devices and helped to reproduce bugs that occurred only in specific mobile phones. - Collaborated closely with the backend team and helped to find root causes of bugs by analyzing log files. - Worked with android and iOS teams and contributed to the app’s usability. Working closely allowed us to fix and retest bugs much faster. 5 to 10 bugs were fixed per day. - Identified server operating limits by performing load tests using JMeter. Tests showed that the current state of the system would not handle the real-life use of the app.
