ProcessMaker

ProcessMaker is an open source solution for the management of the business workflows in small and medium-sized enterprises and in the organizations of different nature. ProcessMaker allows any user, with very little experience, automate and manage business processes. Business Process Management is the set of activities needed to define, optimize, monitor, and integrate business processes in order to model a system oriented to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's business. ProcessMaker is a System, web based, Business Process Management System (BPMS) can be used with your favorite browser, which enables modeling, automation and management of business processes. Does not require any local installation. The ease of use makes it convenient also the design of the processes that are used only infrequently. With ProcessMaker you can design your own forms, create documents, define users, assign roles, and to define the rules of process and connect to other applications and the DBMS. ProcessMaker is aimed: • to those who have to design the process and assign the tasks; • to the users of the process, for the performance of assigned tasks; • supervisors for the verification of the correct functioning; • the manager for the analysis of the results and for the optimization of the processes. Take ProcessMaker. 1. Allows you to automate simple workflows. 2. It does not require the hiring of new staff. 3. Do not create any problem of integration with systems and existing databases.

Digital twin

A twin digital twin is the virtual representation, based on the cloud, an object, a system or of an individual. Typically, the object (or system) studied is associated with a number of sensors that collect data on performance and the “behavior” of the object itself; these data are sent in real time to a processing platform and applied to the twin digital, to perform studies, simulations and predictions. For example, you could create a twin digital of a building and, according to the data collected by sensors placed in strategic points, and check in real time if and how much the ground is giving way, or how to react to the structure during an earthquake; to understand if there is the risk of structural failure or collapse, simulate possible interventions and make predictions on what could be the most effective.

OPC UA

OPCUA, is a standard of M2M communication, multi-platform and open-source software designed specifically for industrial automation. Made to communicate with the devices and industrial systems, is optimized for the exchange of data from sensors to cloud applications and allows the creation of data models to describe complex systems. OPC UA allows various types of systems and devices can communicate by sending request and response messages between the client and the server or network messages between publisher and subscriber on different types of network, using the model PubSub.
