Duties: § Testing functionality of Fleet Assistant application (VisualBasic6, C++) – Wal-Mart and Petro Canada editions. § Testing of Data Conversion Process (COM based interface) from customer database (Informix or SQL Server) to FA Database § Creating and updating XML configuration files § Planning and controlling user acceptance testing, providing advice to users (Wal-Mart, Petro Canada) § Testing of Web FA application – (.net, C-sharp) § Testing of database mapping (Informix and SQL Server) § Testing of data migration on Windows XP, Windows 2000 workstations. § Performing Functional, Security, Stress, SIT, Performance, Regression, Smoke tests. § Creating and updating test plan, procedure, test data requirements, test scripts, test reports (Microsoft Visual SourceSafe) § Defects log (Test Director), reports and analysis, providing workaround recommendations, conduct root cause analysis. § Automated testing using Rational Robot 2003.

Project: TEAM – Production and Finance Editions

Duties: § Developed test plans, test case coverage matrix and scripts for System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Regression testing based on provided Business Requirements, Technical Specifications and other relevant documents. § Reviewed and analyzed provided materials (Business Requirements, Technical Specification) for accuracy and testability. § Analyzed and investigated found issues to provide more comprehensive information for bug fixing. § Worked with mainframe application COINS/COLT (IMS connect) Operating system OS/390 § Used COINS application (releases 51 to 55) to create new accounts, deposit and withdraw money and other financial transaction in different test environments for the test purposes § Verification of all testing results from CBFE Front End was done online using COINS/COLT application as well by batch reports § Recorded all issues into the defect tracking systems (Test Director) with accurate information/details. Followed progress of reported bugs to verify fixes and ensure that verified fixes are closed. § Completely and accurately followed the principals of SIT entry, SIT exit, UAT entry, and UAT exit criteria.
