A worldbuilding developer is a game designer who specializes in the creation of believable, self-consistent worlds for video games and other interactive media. They are responsible for developing the backstory, history, and culture of the game world; designing its geography, climate, and ecology; populating it with interesting characters and creating compelling stories to be told within it.
