A Salesforce developer is responsible for the development, configuration and implementation of the Salesforce CRM platform. They work closely with business users to understand their needs and requirements, and then translate those into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform. In addition to customizing and configuring Salesforce, developers also create custom applications using Apex code, Visualforce pages and Lightning components.
