A business intelligence developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying BI solutions. They work closely with BI analysts and other stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and design systems that meet those needs. BI developers use a variety of tools and technologies to create these solutions, including data warehousing, ETL (extract, transform, load), OLAP (online analytical processing) and reporting tools.
