Electric Motor Design Engineer

A company specializing in the development of powertrains for trucks is seeking an Electric Motor Design Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Development and design of a series of electric motors in accordance with the technical specification.
• Conducting electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical characteristic calculations of electric motors.
• Development of design and technical documentation (drawings, specifications, 3D models).
• Interaction with manufacturing departments and contractors to ensure design manufacturability.
• Participation in the testing and refinement of prototype models.
• Optimization of electric motor designs to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Support the implementation process of developed products into serial production.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrument Engineering, or related fields).
• At least 3 years of experience in the design of AC and DC electric motors.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of electromagnetic processes and motor calculation methods.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and calculation software.
• Experience working with technical documentation and regulatory standards.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems (PLM/PDM).
• Practical experience in working with production and knowledge of electric motor manufacturing technologies.
• Experience with product certification.
• Programming skills for automation of calculations.
