They extract data from various sources, transform it according to business requirements, and load it into target databases or data warehouses. They ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity, handle data cleansing, and perform debugging and troubleshooting. They also manage data migration, conduct performance tuning, and develop data mapping, workflows, and transformations. Additionally, they collaborate with other IT teams, and assist in the design and development of data models and database structures.
