A GUI testing developer is responsible for developing and maintaining test automation scripts for software with a graphical user interface (GUI). They work closely with software developers and quality assurance (QA) analysts to understand the functionality of the application and create tests that cover all aspects of the GUI. In addition to writing code, they also troubleshoot and debug existing test scripts when issues are discovered.
