Fix BluJay Supply Chain

 Client: Global pharmaceutical distributor operating 140 temperature-controlled depots. 

Challenge: Vaccine deliveries required end-to-end monitoring; BluJay Solutions Supply Chain generated too many delayed temperature alerts. 

Solution: Our augmented Java squad (3 seniors, 1 QA) rebuilt the event queue with Reactive Spring and implemented gRPC bridges to IoT devices. We collaborated daily with the client’s DevOps team while remaining offshore. 

Result: Alert latency dropped by 62 %, spoilage incidents fell to zero, and regulatory audit preparation time was cut in half.

 Client: Tier-1 automotive supplier feeding three Japanese assembly plants. 

Challenge: BluJay Solutions Supply Chain could not keep up with 1-minute takt times, causing part mis-sequencing. 

Solution: Two Smartbrain.io Java architects introduced an in-memory Hazelcast grid, refactored blocking APIs to Kotlin coroutines, and added predictive buffering logic. Continuous delivery pipelines were set up within the client’s AWS Japan region. 

Result: Sequencing accuracy hit 99.7 %; line stoppages were eliminated, saving ¥43 M annually.

 Client: Leading Japanese fashion marketplace processing 500 k orders/day. 

Challenge: During Black Friday, BluJay Solutions Supply Chain throughput halved, risking cancelled orders. 

Solution: A five-person Smartbrain.io team containerised legacy Java EE modules into micro-services, implemented autoscaling Kubernetes policies, and optimised JVM GC settings. Weekly demos ensured stakeholder alignment. 

Result: Order processing capacity grew by 210 %; customer cancellations dropped 18 %, and infrastructure cost per order shrank 12 %.
